Dinka Kovačević is one of the founding partners of Kovačević Prpić Simeunović law firm with experience in practicing law since the year 2000. She focuses on advising domestic and international companies in corporate law, M&A, restructuring and commercial contracts. Dinka also possesses extensive experience in advising and representing domestic and international banks and financial institution. Dinka participated in numerous transactions, including privatisation of several banks, as well as managed legal teams in investment projects and due diligence assignments in various industries, such as infrastructure, banking, telecom, media, hotel industry and agriculture. A variety of energy projects and providing legal advice to clients on Croatian energy market account for a significant part of Dinka’s practice. Dinka also publishes articles and speaks at conferences. She is an active member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and holds the position of the Honorary Legal Advisor of the British Ambassador in Croatia since 2014.

Martina is a qualified Croatian attorney at law with years of experience and a founding partner of Kovačević Prpić Simeunović. Martina regularly advises international and domestic banks in finance projects and domestic and foreign companies from various sectors on corporate, commercial, employment and administrative law issues. Martina advises and represents clients in domestic and international arbitration proceedings, proceedings for recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards as well as in litigation, administrative and public procurement proceedings. She has extensive experience and expertise in the areas of competition law, state aid and capital markets and has advised and represented clients in takeover proceedings, merger control notifications and other matters of competition and capital markets. Martina publishes articles and holds lectures on arbitration, capital markets, competition law, energy and transport law.

Danijela Simeunović is a founding partner of Kovačević Prpić Simeunović law firm. Her core practice areas are aviation and transport law, financing and data protection. Danijela led legal teams in some of the largest projects in the Croatian aviation industry over the past years. She advises international clients from the transport sector and represents them in legal proceedings. She also regularly provides legal advice in the fields of corporate law, commercial law and employment law. She has extensive experience in due diligence and acquisition of companies in various industries, as well as projects relating to real property, start-ups and GDPR harmonisation. Danijela is the main contact in the firm for clients from the German speaking countries and a standing court interpreter for English and German language. She is an active member of the Croatian Transport Law Association and the European Air Law Association. Danijela gained practical experience in the Federation of German Industries in Berlin and two leading law firms in Germany, Clifford Chance in Frankfurt am Main and Hengeler Müller in Düsseldorf.

Ana Novaković Stipaničev

Ana Novaković Stipaničev is a partner at Kovačević Prpić Simeunović law firm. She advises clients in different areas of commercial and corporate law and provides daily legal advice to clients with respect to their regular business. In particular, she advises domestic and foreign clients in relation to contracts law and on various legal questions relating to employment law.

Ana leads teams and participates in due diligence processes, as well as national and international merger and acquisition transactions, in various industries (such as IT, agriculture, tourism, etc.). She has significant experience in banking and financing, which includes legal consultancy to credit and financial institutions as well as consultancy on specific regulatory matters, and participation in transactions relating to project financing. Projects relating to aviation law, in particular delivery and lease of aircraft, also form a significant part of Ana’s practice.

Also, Ana has acquired practical experience abroad, in French law firm Vaughan Avocats, in Paris and Toulouse.

She participates in due diligence projects. So far, she has gained significant experience in representing clients in litigation, enforcement, prebankruptcy and bankruptcy proceedings. During her studies, Martina was an active member of the Legal clinic participating as a student mentor in the Group for protecting employees’ rights. She is the recipient of the recognition for exceptional work and commitment in clinical provision of free legal aid. Before joining Kovačević Prpić Simeunović in 2021, Martina was an attorney trainee in two renowned law firms in Croatia.

Tin Aničić

Tin joined Kovačević Prpić Simeunović law firm in 2019. Tin provides daily legal advice to domestic and foreign clients on various legal questions relating to commercial and corporate law, transport and energy law. Also, Tin participates in client representation in litigation as well as domestic and foreign arbitration proceedings. During his studies, Tin was a teaching fellow at departments of Labour and Social Law as well as Financial Law and Financial Sciences. He participated in several Moot Courts, Regional Moot Court on Human Rights, as well as in Willem C. International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Tin was also rewarded with two Dean’s and Rector’s award for academic excellence as well as Dean’s recommendation for extracurricular activities which promote reputation of the faculty.

Valentina Plantić

Valentina Plantić

Valentina provides daily legal advice to clients in various areas of law, particularly in the field of public procurement, competition law, commercial law and corporate law. She regularly advises credit and financial institutions in their regular business operations, including legal counselling on specific regulatory issues. In the field of public procurement law, she guides and represents clients in proceedings before competent authorities, as well as during the implementation of, or their participation in, public procurement procedures. Valentina is actively involved in mergers and acquisition of companies, with emphasis on resolution of competition law matters. In the final year of her studies, Valentina performed a student internship at a law office, and after graduating she started working in a renowned law firm in Croatia. With this experience Valentina joined Kovačević Prpić Simeunović law firm in 2023.

Ivona Vlahović

Ivona graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb in 2019 and passed her bar exam in 2021. Ivona provides daily legal advice to domestic and foreign clients on various legal questions relating to contract, employment and corporate law. Ivona also advises clients in relation to their compliance with data protection law. Before joining Kovačević Prpić Simeunović law firm in 2023, she worked as a trainee lawyer in another renowned Croatian law firm where she gained significant experience in representing clients in litigation, enforcement, prebankruptcy and bankruptcy proceedings and media disputes, and she continues her dispute resolution practice to date. During her studies, in 2018 she received the award for the best oralist of the student Moot Court Competition, and together with the team won first place for the best written submission. She was also rewarded with Dean's awards for individual and team success in Moot Court.

During his studies, he performed his student internship in a law office and as a member of Law Clinic in groups for civil and enforcement law. He participated in Brown Mosten International Client Consultation Competition. Ivan Božo was rewarded with two Dean's awards for exceptional achievements in studies. He joined Kovačević Prpić Simeunović law firm as a trainee lawyer in 2020.

Antonija Paladina

Antonija graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb in 2021. During her studies, she participated in the work of the Legal Clinic as a member of the anti-discrimination and the rights of minorities group. In the final year of her studies, she participated in a traineeship in Steiermärkische Sparkasse AG in Austria, as a scholarship recipient of the "Best of South-East" program. Before joining Kovačević Prpić Simeunović in 2022, she worked as a trainee lawyer in another renowned Croatian law firm.

During her studies, she participated in the work of the Legal Clinic as a member and then as a student-mentor of the Anti-discrimination and minority rights group. She spent one semester on an exchange in Aix-en-Provence in France. During her studies, Lucija gained practical experience in the Office of the Ombudsperson for Gender Equality and a renowned law firm in Zagreb. She was also an active member of Erasmus Student Network Zagreb and participated in projects in the field of European environmental legislation, energy and climate change.

Iman Mrkić

Iman Mrkić

Iman graduated in 2022 from the Faculty of Law, University of Rijeka. She joined Kovačević Prpić Simeunović law firm in 2023. During her studies, she was a student assistant at the English language department. She was also a member of the Commission for study program changes within the "Providentia Studiorum Iuris" project. During her studies, she was actively involved in international cooperation and the promotion of the rule of law and legal education through the European Law Students' Association (ELSA). Most prominent projects include the simulated European parliament, schools on diplomacy and law with an emphasis on equality and equal opportunities in the legal profession.

Ivan Malčić

Ivan graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb. He has joined our law firm in 2023. During his studies, Ivan was a student assistant at the Department of General history of law and state, as well as the Department of Economic Science. During his studies, Ivan was also a member of the student association e-Students Legal team. As a member of the association Ivan attended various lectures and workshops on the topic of law and finance, some of which he organized himself, and participated in the legal work of the association by drafting various contracts and other legal documents. At the end of his studies Ivan was an intern at a law firm.

Margareta Piskač

Margareta Piskač

Margareta began her student life in Austria at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and continues to play the piano in her spare time. She concluded her student career in 2022 by graduating in Law at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. During her studies, Margareta gained practical experience in renowned law firms in Linz, Klagenfurt and her native Varaždin, and she participated in a Moot Court competition in the field of labour law. After graduating from the Faculty of Law, she also completed a judicial practice in the duration of seven months at the district courts in Graz, the Regional Labour and Social Court Leoben and the State Attorney's Office Graz. After returning to Croatia and working in the team of a law firm in Zagreb, she joined our law firm in 2023.

Đurđa Vidović

Đurđa joined Kovačević Prpić Simeunović law firm in 2015. The first five years of her career Đurđa worked in London before returning to Croatia where she worked as an office administrator at one larger law firm in Zagreb for ten years. Between 2009 and 2015 Đurđa worked for the General Consulate of the Kingdom of Denmark in Zagreb as a consular assistant. Đurđa is fluent in English.

Ivana Radovanović

Ivana joined the KPS team in 2023 after nine years of experience in administrative work. Ivana spent a large part of her career working abroad, in England, Slovenia, Italy and Serbia. She has studied at the Faculty of Law for Economy and Justice in Novi Sad and is fluent in English and Slovenian. Ivana also has three years of experience working in a non-governmental organization ŽUKO from Serbia.
